While sitting in a coffee house excited and contemplating the things that I could write about, I jotted notes down and headed home to finally complete a task that I wanted to do for the last 6 months. Why it took that long is part of this story and more to follow.

I recent read an audio book called "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins. What a book! If you read between the lines the gist of it is that he was running at 40% output and pushed himself to +100%. Once at 100%, he discovered that he was back at 40% because he pushed into another level of success, altogether. He accepted the challenge and pushed harder. He had failures in both his personal life and professional. He is far from perfect but he has a story about how the body can get accustomed to the 40% and how we need to push it back to 90% -100%.

Everyone needs to figure out if they are only at 40%. Are you?

Are you aware of what the next level entails or the direction which you may need to go?

When looking at other's accomplishments no matter how small, be curious about their journey and ask questions

I will tell a funny story....

This blog, I have had this blog for years and stopped posting. I know why and that isn't important right now. I could always say, writing does not come easy to me and I can't any more. It just takes time for me to write. I need the practice.

To write this blog, I had to do the following:

Move to a new city and start my life over
Take care of myself mentally and physically
Deal with being alone, loneliness, and several life changing events changes (last count - three)
Hold myself accountable over time and be gently with myself - a lot has happened
Complete 1000 other accomplishments (higher priority)
Overcome a pretty bad cold
Talk to my mother and sister who I have not chatted with for years
Make and follow-up with new friends - putting myself out there
Use the symbolic old computer and nothing else to do this
Reorganize my place 3-4 times to find the right place to put the desk (energy flow)
Feel safe enough to post my thoughts and share them with the internet

Looking over my notes from sitting in the coffee shop, I can see that I wanted to write about pain, fear, transition, family, growth, safety, building blocks, honesty, change, and my belief in the universe. Pretty big things to write about.

Once I started to write this post, I realized that I couldn't go in-depth about everything and would convey my thoughts with pictures.,
